The FDA approved Propecia (Finasteride) in 1997 to treat male pattern baldness. The active ingredient in this treatment is finasteride. It is the same medication used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia, also known as an enlarged prostate.
Finasteride is used in combination with other medications or in an approved treatment for male pattern baldness. It works by blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. DHT is known to be a key factor in the development of male pattern baldness. By lowering DHT levels in the body, finasteride helps prevent hair loss and promotes hair growth.
The drug is available in the form of tablets that are taken orally, and the FDA has approved it in 2012. The active ingredient is finasteride. Hi. I am a 32-year-old who is taking propecia for hair loss. It is a 1mg finasteride that is available over the counter. I have been taking it for two years now. I am not sure if it is due to the drug, or the side effects of the drug. I am using Propecia 1mg and Proscar 5mg. I am using this drug to control my hair loss. Does anyone know if there are any side effects associated with this drug?

I am on Propecia 5mg. I have noticed some "mild" side effects but I am concerned about the side effects. For example, is there any way I can safely take a higher dose? What is the safest way to take this medication? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Yes, the safest way is to take finasteride 1mg daily (or the generic version) for 3 months to see if there is any difference in how long it takes to work. I would also suggest switching from Propecia to finasteride. For the 5mg version, I would suggest taking 5 mg daily. Finasteride is a 5mg form of finasteride. You will need to take it at the same time every day. Propecia is a 5mg form of finasteride. You can take finasteride 1mg daily, or the generic version, if you prefer. Finasteride 1mg is available in generic form. You will need to check your doctor's prescription. Propecia is also available in 5mg, and the 5mg version is usually recommended for you.

I take finasteride daily for about a year. For me, the most noticeable difference is that I will not experience the "male pattern baldness" side effect with Propecia or the generic. There are a lot of studies that show that finasteride can cause some very serious side effects. I am worried that this will be too much for me to handle. I hope you find a solution and take your Propecia to your doctor. Good luck!

I have been taking Propecia for about 6 months. After taking the 1mg tablet, I noticed some mild to moderate side effects such as decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, etc. I am concerned about these side effects. However, I do not think that it is a safe thing to take Propecia daily. It is a treatment that can cause severe side effects, which is a very dangerous thing to take. I was on a 2mg dose, and the side effects went away. If you take Propecia daily, you should be very cautious about taking the medication. I would suggest you to try taking it at the same time daily to see if it will help. You should also look into taking finasteride with food.

It is important that you not take Propecia if you are taking any of the above medications. You should take the lowest effective dose of Propecia for the shortest time possible. Propecia is also available in generic form. You will need to take finasteride at the same time every day. Propecia is available in 5mg, Proscar 5mg, and finasteride is available in 1mg.

Thanks for the advice, I think taking Propecia is more safe. If you are taking the 1mg tablet, then you will still need to take the 1mg finasteride daily. However, I do not think it is a safe thing to take Propecia daily. I would suggest to take it at the same time every day.
